My mrs is a keen cook and has long been going on about a food mixer. I know decent ones aren't cheap but are meant to last. Considering I've just had my annual bonus I think I will get her one as she'll spend ages saving up and getting one herself. I've seen a lot of people recommending Kenwood and KitchenAid - are these worth the premium over cheaper ones?
I bought this one a few years ago and it still working great

We've got the same one and it's been a great purchase.
One the main reasons why i choose that one was because i wanted one with a light :D

Looks like the price of them have gone up a huge amount (now £590 :eek::eek:) as am sure i paid a lot less then that
It was under £400 when i bought mine in 2019

I just camelcamelcamel it

Know someone at work who was given a thermonix as a gift by her parents in law, primarily for her chef husband but they didn't use it for about the first 6 months. I tried to take it off her hands but they didn't bite. Then he started making cakes and bringing them into work. They were incredible
