5600X PBO Settings?

Hoping you guys/gals can assist here. I'm TRYING to get a good PBO OC on my 5600X, but I can't seem to get it to boost above 4.6Ghz. I have a solid stable all-core OC running at 4.7Ghz @ 1.275v.

I'm using an MSI X570 Tomahawk if that helps?

My settings for my 4.7Ghz are:

CPU Ratio - 47.00

FCH - Auto

CPU Voltage - Override 1.275v

CPU Loadline - Mode 2

Overvoltage - 350mV

Overcurrent Protection - Enhanced

CPU Switching Frequency - 900KHz

VRM Overtemp protection - 100C

NB/SoC Loadline - Mode 2

NB/SoC Overcurrent - Enhanced

NB/SoC Switching Frequency - 900KHz

VR 12VIN OCP Expander - Enabled.

And then I use the following in the AMD Overclocking menu in the BIOS too:

PBO - Advanced

PBO Limits - Motherboard

Everything else at AUTO.

My CPU is cooled with the Alpenföhn Gletscherwasser 360. And I have it running in push/pull too. Housed in a Lian-Li O11 Dynamic.

What settings do I need to enable a good PBO OC? Obviously, I know to set the CPU Ratio back to AUTO first...

Thanks in advance guys!

P.S. I'm hoping to get higher than 7th in the UK on TimeSpy with my 5600X + 6800XT... (I am Alt-Tab)

You have hit the proverbial silicon lottery
PBO on ryzen is set to cover all manner of silicon quality and guarantee stability
You have a nice chip that is able to push over spec
Keep the manual overclock if it is stable
But what do you mean by:
Overvoltage - 350mV
And for LLC i prefer auto

So you're saying 4.7Ghz all core is damn good?

Overvoltage, sorry, I didn't type the whole thing "CPU Overvoltage Protection".

4.7Ghz all core on your voltage is good
In overclocking you hit a wall
After witch to get stability you need insane voltage that is impossible to cool
Example for me:
5900x CCD1
4.6Ghz at 1.25V
4.7Ghz at 1.27V
4.8Ghz at 1.42V
It is obvious that 1.42V is way too much and impossible to cool
PBO will push 4.8Ghz single core with 1.44V
And curve optimizer will go to 5Ghz with 1.5V and crash all the time
I sweat profoundly looking at 1.5V

There's some great videos on YouTube, one in particular that gives you a 4 part step on using ryzen master, I normally bios overclock but after watching all 4 parts, it shows you pbo, auto oc, curve optimizer, there really is no need to do an all core oc anymore!

If you want to take advantage of PBO and curve optimiser the you don’t do manual multiplier or manual voltages.

you leave all of that to auto and go into AMD overclocking and go into PBO enable advanced and go into curve optimiser to set -ve values per core.

you also need to set boost override - 5600X max boost out of box is 4.65GHz but you can dial +300MHz to get it go close to 5GHz maybe even +400MHz.

what you doing there is manual OC and those voltages and those core speeds indicate you got a nice chip which should do 5GHz.

Plenty info here on how to do 5GHz PBO with CO

go to CPU section for information.
