Wifi channel search software

Hi

I cant find a way to search what the local people have set their wifi channel at.. as i am having wifi break out and i been told to find out what channels people are using and i try and narrow it down to a better channel for myself

If you're after an iOS app (you didn't specify) then I don't think you'll find one without jailbreaking. Apple removed all the WiFi scanners from the App Store some years ago and I don't think they've been allowed back.

You'll need to go into settings, locate 'Airport Utility' and switch on 'Wi-Fi Scanner'.
