So I just had a mini epiphany for a new product to help blind people.

What would you do next? How to protect the idea? How to make it happen?

First of all, make sure it doesn't exist. Also, don't feel you have to release the "perfect" product out the gate. Get a good enough version out and let the users do some testing so it can be improved.

I had an amazing idea for a sex toy but it had already been done, surprisingly enough.

How do blind people know when they have finished wiping their bum?
The uncomfortable greasy feeling is gone.

How does a deaf person know the difference between yawning and shouting?
You mean aside from your facial expression?

Airflow.
Going away = Yawning. Coming at you = Shouting.
That, and you have really bad breath, so shouting is even more obvious.
