The lack of interest in this event over the last few years doesn't say much about Google's marketing and/or products but their 2021 Keynote's about to start.

No hardware announcements made yesterday

It's a developer/software conference. The hardware's usually announced in October or sporadically throughout the year.

Plenty of improvements announced for Google Maps, Photos, Android 12, which looked great, and their other software. The advancements they're machine with AI was also impressive, especially LaMDA, although nothing really blew me away this year.

Watched it hoping for a look at the Pixel 6, but oh well.

Some stuff with photos looks really nice. I really do wish duplex and "hold for me" would find its way to the UK
