Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

Comical looking around at another site today, they have the msi 6900xt gaming x and 6900xt gaming z in stock. The only real difference between them is the gaming z has a metal backplate and a bit higher boost clock. How much would you reckon more they want for this over the gaming x?

It does not justify the extra cost, but I think it may be the XTU version.

I get the feeling we have different ideas on what reasonable is. To me a 3060 is a £300 card, £3070 £450, 3080 £650 and £3090 £850. Reality is the prices are way above that. Not a complaint but just a lot higher than I would call "reasonable"

Got a 3080FE this week for 650, was lucky I happened to be on my phone at the exact moment they dropped. Stil, hopeful this is a sign of things easing.

Funny isn't it. There was a time 100% of this forum years ago they would have all laughed at those prices one time. A Titan was cheaper than that.

Have also seen a fair few 3080/3090 FE cards this week. Prices are similar but not selling half as quickly as they were a few weeks ago.

Zotac give an initial 2 year warranty but you can register for the additional 3 years to make 5 in total.

... at the price offered. Great if this is the case. I'm in the market for a 6800 at some point but in no rush. £1k ish is too rich for me.
