Blinking Front IO light

Any idea why the backlit button on my front I/O might blink/pulse?
No big problem, but I thought there was lightning outside

(ASUS Z590+ MoBo, NZXT 700 case)

Looking at the manual for the case, looks like the outer edge of the power button is the HDD activity led.

If it is distracting you could just unplug it from the motherboard.

RN I'm just so happy my first build works without blowing up that I don't really want to start unplugging things, lol

could be a cable issue. tbh i unplugged my i/o light cable. my case is black and looks better with no lights on the front.
