Just finished the series. Brilliant eye pleasure. Obviously there’s a great deal of artistic licence in the entire thing.

Clarkson looks physically better off as well at the end.

Previously enjoyed the historical Victorian and Wartime Farm shows, makes a change from watching historians doing everything as it was done, to watching an idiot try to do it the laziest way possible.

Surprisingly good for a man who didn't know how to farm, wasn't sure going in if they were stretching it to 8 episodes but none of them felt slow and it came across more informative than I thought it would.

Went in expecting 'POWAH' and hooning around in a tractor, got a completely different show.
