No, it's a deliberate comparison between their complexion and meat.

DEROGATORY•INFORMAL
a middle-aged or older white man with conservative, traditionalist views, stereotypically characterized as having a red or flushed complexion.
"they had a discussion with some gammon who thinks climate change is a lie"
I think you'll find it just means " Ham that has been cured or smoked like bacon"

GB news is obviously so disappointing that it's turned in to a 10 page discussion about people who claim they don't get offended, being offended by the term.

It's turned in to a 10 page thread highlighting the duplicity of those who claim to stand against racists and bigots using a racist, bigoted term and thinking its OK then using some downright impressive mental gymnastics to try and convince themselves that they're not the very thing they call people in other threads on here.

Based on their behavior and a reaction of increased blood flow when they are angry, nothing to do with their race.

Just like red-neck is derogatory but not racist.
Brown-nosing is not a racists, but a quip about behavior.

People are born Black.
People are born Brown.
People are born White.

Nobody is born with reddish pink skin which increases when people get angry about something

First time I saw the term was all those blokes getting mad with Corbyn because he wouldn't say in a TV debate whether he would contribute to global annihilation by nuking people.

Redneck is also a pejorative term and can be used in racial contexts.
I don't for one second believe that you're dumb enough to think brown nosing is related to someone's skin colour.

Sure enough, look at the number of replies in this thread...

Theyre a self fulfilling prophecy. They'll do what they do in every other thread where they don't like losing an argument, take it further and further off track until the mods close it.

See the daft brown-nosing response above for an example.

Aren't you doing the same thing by responding to people talking about a word being racist despite this being a thread about a news channel?
