Hello , I’m looking for a clean black motherboard that will support and help ryzen 7 5800x and an rtx 3080 achieve their best performance , support fast ram and m.2 aswell.

is the N7 B550 board from NZXT good?

To be honest, you should look at some reviews, their VRM performance / temps and what features they have. I have a 5800x and am using a B550M Mortar from MSI. It has everything I want in a m-atx board.

Any specific colour scheme you're going for?

An MSI B550-A PRO would be fine with that cpu if you want something cheap. You can find it for under £100.

The B550 Unify-X would be a better choice if you want to do memory overclocking. Otherwise the regular Unify is solid. They should be pretty similar in price.

+1 for B550-A Pro, the prices dropped very recently and now they're sub-£100 new. All black, one of the sleekest and nicest looking motherboards I've ever seen and it omits ANY form of RGB or silly gamer tat.

Spending a bit more you should get B550 Tomahawk or Gigabyte equivalent. X570 is a waste of your money unless you are aware of and will use the extra features.
