Been on 16GB 3000MHz since 2016 until today. Lightroom exports faster, loads faster, processes faster. What's not to like. Was on 80% RAM usage before when working in Lightroom, now on 50% or below. The RGB has no use for me, it was just cheaper than the non RGB version, and the Pro offers slightly tighter timings :p

Although.... disco inferno!

That certainly is an expanse of bonded resin. It could be the angle of the pictures but does seem to grade towards the house?

Hope there is some drainage channel, gravel or something to soak up / disburse the run off

On the face of it is is quite an expanse, but in context when compared to the size of the garden it really isn't all that big. There's also a big chuck of it that was previously dead space behind a shed (space freed up after moving the fence forward) so we've not lost any grass or planted areas.

The surface is permeable so you could argue that the whole surface is a soakaway.

You don't want it to be "level"...you want it to slope slightly away from the house.

If the surface was impermeable, then yes. But the surface is permeable so any water goes straight through to the sub base. It won't run towards the house.

Anyway, it's "level" as opposed to level, there is a very very slight slope towards the fence.
