I don't like it barren. Which means I have to compromise. I accept half the year will not be great if I want greenery!
Moved from Lincolnshire because the beaches were bland. And not much but fields.
I've said basically the same before.
If I had complete control of the weather I'd have a month or 2 around Christmas where it was cold and dry. And the rest of the year 20-30c.
With a couple of days a week raining.
Would be amazing.
Like you I feel I have to make most of this weather. By end of this snap I'll have been on water 4 times. And on my bike twice. Because who knows if that's summer gone for the year?!
That's the worst thing about UK. You might get months of this weather one year. And then literally none the next.
I think the last few years in fact, there were heat waves since February in one of the recent years.
