I was surprised it stayed in stock for so long but then again miners have no interest and selling for profit on the 3080ti is probably more hassle then it’s worth.

I bet the people who bought it were still scalpers and they will endup on the bay tomorrow, scalpers seem to want to go through all that for £50 profit.

Is there a way to sign up for stock alerts on oc or were you saying they were available on a competitor? I pre-ordered a 3080 on release day but ended up having to cancel late last year and now I am stuck unable to get a 3070 or 3080 at close to msrp from oc now :(

When an extra 10% performance costs 62% more then it's no supprise no one wants this card.

The 3080ti is just a cash grab from Nvidia when they should have really been focusing on releasing the 3050/ti for the forgotten mainstream segment of gamers.

What do you think next gen cards would be like?

Come on.. it sold out in an hour and a bit. It's not like it's still available.

£1049 is competitive compared to the 2080ti, that's for sure. FE RTX 3080 is just on a whole different level in terms of value but OOS!

Im comparing 3080ti sell out time vs 3080 or 3070. last time 3080 sell out in seconds. 3070 lasted 2 minutes or something.

So when u think about it, 3080ti lasting over an hour does tell you the story. It is a good card but not good value for money.

It also tells you that shops are going to find it increasingly tough to sell 3080s for 1k +

Premium products are always slow to sell due to their price though. The 2080ti was a slow seller as well.

They're ever supposed to be value for money. Price per frame has always been ridiculous at the high end in my opinion.

The 3080ti is very close to last gen pricing. People buying lower tier cards are getting ripped off yet the 3080ti has 2018 pricing. It's completely escaped the scalping.

I wish I could buy a 3060 at 2018 prices.

Somewhere in the middle.
Your correct , typo. Maybe in November 2021 they will be active stocks in a shop. 1 year later.

You reckon Sony (or MS) struggled with stock because they are inexperienced console sellers or because there has been a pandemic and stock issues for countless components essential for manufacturing their product?

Nvidia Gpu market isn't comparable to console market. Had there not been a mining boom then sales figures don't come close.

I've managed to bag a PS5 from Very this week, so that'll keep me going for a while until GPU prices drop some more - meanwhile my GTX1070ti does OK with the PC titles I'm playing at the moment.

im waiting for the 3070 or 3080, i dont hold out much hope if they only lasted seconds or a couple of minutes.

just far more demand than supply

I see there are a few 3080Ti's in stock https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pc-components/graphics-cards/nvidia/geforce-rtx-3080-ti
My question is which one or are they pretty comparable with each other?

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pali...dr6x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-065-pl.html

this one and later flash the OC BIOS to it and save £100 for the oc version, they are exactly same card, I have 2 x 3090 of the same cards oc models and had the none oc models too and used the oc BIOS on the none oc and worked exactly the same. If you don't mind the looks of it, it has very good components and very solid cards and they actually look really nice in real, the pictures make them look not as nice. The card has dual bios too. Also the price is good too at £1400 for it.

My main system here so you can see what the cards look like installed in the normal way :- https://www.overclockers.co.uk/foru...-owners-thread.18898762/page-48#post-34846430
