I've been dithering for weeks on new parts and would appreciate your thoughts on these:

Monitor: Asus TUF GamingVG289Q or LG UHD 2783A Both 4K
MB: Asus ROG Strix B550 F Gaming
CPU: Ryzen 3900X
M.2 Drive: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB PCie 4
Memory: Klevv Bolt 32 GB 2x8. (Not sure if this is low profile enough for my Noctua D15.
Case: Phantheks Enthoo Pro.

I will be re-using a Corsair 750HX Power Supply, Noctua D15 Cooler and ROG Strix 1070 Graphics card until higher end cards are more sensibly priced, and other bits.

I'm a non gamer. and do a bit of video editing. My present PC does all I need, but its time to move on, and I want 4K.

You might want to check how much difference it makes between a 3900X and 5900X, since if it's a lot faster in your tasks it could be worth the extra. Alternatively, if you're only doing very light work, then the 3900X would be overkill.

Do you have a secondary drive for storage?

At least OcUK's price for 3900X makes zero sense.
Because of faster architecture 8 core 5800X is near in fully multithreaded performance, while taking clear lead in single/lowly threaded workloads.
And not much expensive 5900X is obviously clearly faster in everything.

£100 difference 3900X - 5900X. Is it £100 Better? I could drop the case and put the money to the 5900X.

I have storage drives.

Edit: I've gone for the 5900X.
