PC upgrade advice

Hi new to the forums just looking at some advice on my gaming pc had it a while now I'm looking at playing that new game called new world that comes out next month. I think i just need a new GPU and maybe a new monitor

my specs are

CPU Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.50GHz
RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 1199MHz Kingston hyper x
GPU 3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780
MOTHERBOARD sabretooth z87
corsair h100i

my budget would be around £400 to £600 for both a GPU and monitor or if the monitor is ok maybe around £300 for a GPU

The 2060 would make a massive differnce to your gaming and unless you have an issue with the monitor I ould just update the GUP

Also depends what psu you have as the 3060 is best with a 600+ watt psu.

I’d probably sit tight for a while. Even with a massive overclock on the CPU and 2000 on the memory cards like 2060 will be hamstrung by the rest of the system.

For a bit above your budget you could upgrade most of the rig.
