I'm getting new pc + win xp 64 in a few day.. I've just found out there are no 64 bit drivers for my current wifi card (asus wl-138g), but I'm not actually using asus drivers atm, but updated ones from windows update (marvell libertas 802.11b/g wireless driver).

Anyway, just wondering what is likely to happen; will XP 64 love my card and have drivers for it or will 32bit drivers still work in xp 64 or will it just not work? If I have to get a new card which make/model has 64 bit drivers?

thanks

32 bit drivers Probably wont work in XP64. If you can't get 64bit drivers then your card probably wont work unless It's a mainstream and pretty generic one that generic drivers can run.
This is why MS 64bit OS are a pain in the arse. Linux on the other hand is natively 64bit kernel and manages to run 32 bit stuff without batting an eyelid, but such is life.

Mine uses marvell libertas chipset. After I install it, windows loves it and connects to the net, but within a minute I get a BSOD :( Has anyone got an Asus WL-138G wifi pci card working on xp64 ? Or can you advise me on a wifi card that does please?

Yeah they're the same ones I tried, just a different location. The net works for 1 minute, then dies. BSOD : BAD_POOL_HEADER . I'm gonna have to use 32bit until I get a different wifi card.
