2GB Of Geil Value Ram

Is anyone running these at timings tighter than their listed specs at ddr400 speed. I had 1Gb of Geil Ultra X and replaced it with 2Gb of th Geil Value. I have seen many posts saying this stuff overclocks well, but i'm wondering can you get settings near or on the Ultra X spec. I'm not overclocking hence wanting to tighten the timings. If so what has been run tighter ? Mobo is Epox 9NPA+ SLi.

Mine runs at 230 with 2.5/3/3/7 at 2.9v stable as a very stable thing using prime (the TT that hammers the mem). havnt tried at higher volts although its rated to 2.95v according to the Geil website.

I've always ran mine at 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 7, though I generally run it on a divider so it doesnt get any higher than about 210.

i thousg that you cant use 2.5 as amd does not support half values as such (this is just from what i remember being told)

and if im right 2.5 is what you can set it to but in achel fact its only 3

can you tell me weather im right or wrong so i know for future reference

I think thats dividers your talking about, Ive got 3 AMD machines running with timings of 2.5/3/3/7(11 for Barton-m)
