A quick question about a P4 (478) mobo..

Hello all..

I currently have an Asus P4C800E - deluxe motherboard that is giving me some troubles, I have tried all sorts of stuff making it work, but have decided to try another board instead.

So I am curios if the following motherboard: MSI-6585 - could be used instead - I mean are they comparable in terms of ram, cpu etc.?

Try this site as it has a lot of useful info for the P4C800E. I still have mine (gave it to my brother) never had any probs with it in 2 years. Sometimes a bios update will cure the issues you get. There has been @ least 8 for this board!

Personally i would try the Abit IC7-MAX3 if you can get your hands on it very nice board
