Hey guys

is this a good game? i've read reviews but appreciate your view a lot more

reason i ask is cause i've seen it for 5.99 and that seems a damn good price for a game that isnt really that old

so whats it like? graphics good? good ai?

thanks guys

Graphics aren't bad but it's not well optimised (can run quite slow even on decent systems). Ai is pretty poor. But despite that stuff it's an excellent game. Good storyline, good missions, quite good skills/abilities system. Definately worth £5.99. It does have quite a lot of bugs but not many serious ones. Most are just graphical glitches, slight scripting glitches, etc.

One of the best single player games ive played in a loing time ,it was right up my street ,its got a few bugs but a lot would have been ironed out by the unofficial patches and it can run abit poor in some places but again that may have been fixed by the latest patch which was only released this week afaik

Deffo worth 5.99 :)

Superb game - especially the hotel level.

Possible the freakiest and best section of any game ever! Play with the lights out, the surround sound turned up and a change of pants on standby. :D

I never found guns to be essential at all, in fact, I've still not bothered using them.

So far, I've taken my Brujah through to Chinatown without firing a gun once (aside from in the tutorial).

I'm quite happy to stealth my way through the maps, then maul the enemies with my l337 melee/brawling skills. Obviously, my character is a bit of a beast in the physical aspects.

Celerity L4 REALLY helps (being able to see the bullets coming towards you is a very sweet effect), Potence is rather nice as well :)

Cracking game.

I'm right at the end, I loved the main game, but the ending is dreadful, I don't know if its just my character, Brujah swordsman \ HtH specialist \ talker but I am totally stuck at what I presume to be pretty much the final section of the game, I obviously don't want to give any spoilers away... but the Framerate dropped so badly even with everything turned off it was absolutely impossible to complete :(

I was surprised how good it was. It didn't really look all that appealing to me, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and it has some replayability value.

Yup, great game and if you have a quick google (Can't find the site atm), then there is an unofficial patch, currently at 1.9 or so which fixes just about all of the major scripting etc. problems.

The Nosferatu rule!!

Me too. I really enjoyed it to begin with, but part way through I upgraded, and reinstalled windows. After that my old save games didn't work and I couldn't be bothered starting again. It's one of the few games I've bought, but haven't completed.
