Hi.
Im currently doing a work placement at school, a place that i used to work at.
The way that the internet access works there is that as long as you have the proxy address, you try to access a website & a dialog should popup asking you for the internet name & password.
On my old iBook, using Firefox, i could get it to do that and browse the web.
But. I cant get it to do it on my new Thinkpad, in either Firefox, IE or Opera. Thats with the proxys put in the options for each of those programs.
Ideas?

Yeah.
The Ethernet has a DHCP server. And the WiFi, that i set up for the school, that was working fine with my iBook 4 months ago, also has DHCP on.
It connects to the Wifi fine, and gets an address.

Sorted it.
But now, the only browser that comes up with the security dialogue box, Firefox, asks me the same security question everytime i goto a new site, and says that the info is wrong 2 times in a row, then lets me the 3rd time!
