L1915S brightness

I have it for one year now but I noticed it is hurting my eyes gradually. Not sure if it is to do with cheap TFT.

When I open website, the white background is too bright, I would change the brightness to low but then, all the photos/movies would look dark.

I want to know if this is normal for TFT.

I've got this monitor... no problems here. Sounds like you need to find that sweet spot with the configs. If you hold the menu button and turn it on you can access the service menu-like thing for some more options.

Ok, I have tried many adjustment or tried to 'balance' settings out but no luck.

Look like I have to change between 'Night text' mode (for internet/word processing) and 'User mode' for photos.
