Am going to pop down to halfords to pickup some interior cleaning products for the MG this evening - could really do with some advice.

The interior has carpet, what i believe to be velour, leather, and plastics.

The interior looks like this:

(note it has electric windows *eek* cant believe they did a model without! :o)

Many thanks. I would be happy to spend up to £20 on some products for the interior.

Autoglym interior shampoo is good and will lift dirt off carpets, cloth and plastics. Don't see why it wouldn't work on leather as well. Its a cleaner so it doesn't leave stuff shiny and it smells quite neutral which is good.

What kind of stuff would be good to 'feed' the leather? Mine's starting to crack a little bit and I want to stop it before it gets any worse.

Oh, nice car Goatyman :) Sorry I missed your new car thread.

I got some leather valet from Tesco, made by 'Carplan' who make de-icer etc as well. It was £5 odd, and is designed to feed the leather. I gave my car a quick going over and faded bits were coming up with some colour and softening so I'm having another go this weekend.

It comes in a spray can, spraying onto a cloth seems best. The leather pictured on the can is cream but mine is black and its fine on all leathers.
