Which took about 511 hours of CPU time.

It's now downloaded a Sulphur cycle.. estimated CPU time required... only 1577 hours.. so that's three times as long!

Eeek!

The X2 is at 70% and 67% for the two WUs it's doing in parallel. They should be completed in about the same 500 hours. However as I play games on it and it's not on throughout the day... they get a bit delayed ;)

I wonder if the X2's next WUs will be sulphur cycles too... hmmmm that's 65 days of CPU time each...

CP.net "models" ie WUs are split into three sections. The spin up, the normal forcast and at twice the CO2. By the end of the third section was complete the model north pole was at about freezing (with a small amount of -5) and the equator land areas during the day were topping the temperature colour scale!

Trickle updates keep the scores moving - I have ~16,000 credit with 1 complete model and two at ~70%. Not too bad :)

Well the X2 completed the first hadsm3 model in ~370 cpu hours. Not bad considering that model isn't using SSE because of the intel compiler.
Second model is about 20 cpu hours behind.

Next model downloaded is a Sulphur 4.22 model so it will be using SSE instructions :D
It estimates completion in 1112 cpu hours..

I'm 71 CPU hours through a Sulphur cycle. still some 995hrs to go. Argh!

Hehe lappy is 202 hours into a sulphur ... so that's 12.35% then :D
The estimate has gone up... 1696 cpu hours now!

That's like... two months isn't it?

If it was running 24/7... so make that a bit longer! :D
