....To buy the Fatality card over the XtremeMusic Version.

Apart from the console and Remote the only difference seems to be the X-
Ram feature.

Does it merit the extra £70.00 ?

It's worth it if you want the 5.25" bay connection centre. Very few games make use of the X-RAM, and the remote is a little on the slow side (at least it is with my X-Fi Elite Pro).

Whether you actually want something with the Fatality branding on it is another thing entirely though. ;)

Okay it does look smarter with the connection centre and the remote but
how often are they actually used and in what way?

Will be using it for games with just the usual MP3's and DVD's

I use the connections on my Elite Pro to route my XBox 360 and other consoles through my PC's speakers, it lets me use headphones etc.. the same way I can for my PC.

For your usage though, I don't really see any advantage in having the additional connections so you'll probably be better off saving some money and getting the Xtreme Music version.
