Dear Forum,
i have run WebRoots Spy ware sweeper and it found a list of spyware that MicroSofts Anti Spyware has not clean. :(
can any suggest the best way to rid this programe from my PC.
There is a remaoval tool from the Purity Scan web site it self, though can this be trusted ! ?
http://www.purityscan.com/uninstall.html

Or is there a manual approach.
Has any body had this problem and Successfully got rid of it.

Many thanks :)

Never even heard of purity scan so I can't really say whether or not it can be trusted. However, why don't you try Ad-Aware or SpyBot.

I use both and never come across anything that one or the other hasn't been able to shift.

spyware doctor is another good one but it will cost you

i would say go with the uninstall from the purity scan web site first then move onto the spyware removers after if needed

Thanks guys.
i have the Adaware & Spybot programs.
Though this problem is on my work PC, which means i can not load on um authorised software. Even though it is free !
of course i can load it, run it, then uninstall it.
I have even told the IT Dept what is on the infected PC and they can not find it or remove it.
I used the on line scan from Web Roots i think it was. I hope to display the offending programs in my next thread.
Has any one used the Purity unistall program ! ?
If so, did it work ?
Many thanks guys
