I'm after a wireless router with built-in ADSL modem, and an adapter for a desktop. I'm not sure which router to get, and which adapter - are USB or PCI better bets? I'm also not clear on the details for some of the routers -some are described as internet gateways, does this mean they have an internal modem?
I'm looking to spend minimal money so I can save for a better graphics card, so cheaper the better - I' m not going to play any network games, I'm just looking to connect to broadband so bandwidth isn't too great a problem. The desktop will be in the room directly above the router, so there are no brick walls in line of sight.
