XBox Live through a PC

how do :)

a mate has just rang me with a technical query about Live but its been so damn long since i set mine up i dont know nuthin...

he has adsl, and the modem connects to his computer through usb, the modem has no RJ45 connectivity to go straight to XBox,

he's trying to use a cat 5 from his pc to the box...

any advice to get it goin?

He will have to use a crossover cable unless he has a switch. Then he will need to set up the Internet PC for Internet Connection Sharing (ICS).
