spare fan what should i do with it?

hey guys,

I have a watercooled system, coolriver deluxe but with different pump and not using the stock fan.
I have 2 akasa amber fans either side of the 120mm radiator blowing the air out of the case. I have an 80mm fan at the front sucking air in. I have a spare akasa amber 120mm. I have tried attaching it to the radiator but didnt really make any differnce. At the moment it is just in the middle of case not really doing anything.

Where should i position it to get maximum effect? Should i have it close up to the cpu, blowing on that waterblock?
It just seems a shame to waste the fan, if i can shave of 1c i will be happy!!

also when we measure the temp and we say idle, does that mean basically nothing going at all, just your computer ticking over? And when you say load is that just normal apps or gaming?

Try removing the 80mm at the front and putting it in it's place.

Idle just means that you only have windows running.

ok thanks, um the only problem is i can only fit a 80mm in the front of the case, it's a chembro gaming bomb.

ok will try, is pretty weird inside the gaming bomb though as it has a hardrive rack thing at the front of case so pretty restricting.
