D70 and B&W Pictures

Ok, maybe a stupid question, but can you set a D70 to take pictures in Black and White ?.... I can't find a setting to do this.......
Would be nice when in a B&W frame of mind to take and preview in B&W, plus it would save on CF storage space !!

Knowing nothing about Nikon, but knowing something about the RAW format - I think even when you choose a B&W setting, if you shoot in RAW, the colour information is still stored - so you wouldn't save CF card space.

No, there's no B&W option for the D70.

I wouldn't use it even if there was - I prefer to channel mix B&W shots.
