If someone knows the answer to this, then it is a miracle.

On November 7th 2005 some friends and I visited the TGI Friday's on Nile Street in Cairo, Egypt. When we were in there they played a song. Just one song. It repeated over and over and over without repent. I can hum the tune, but that's no use to anyone in text! I can remember it being something about the "curtain" and it was a sung by an almost operatic woman. The song was mostly singing, but would have a period of just a drum roll, which would build up and the song would step up a key. It seemed as if the song was about overcoming something, and that was reflected in its varying tempo.

Would anyone have a remote clue what the song could have been?
