Took a trip down to Chicksands today to shoot some of the locals at the trails...

Nope, that was his 5th flip of the day, he usually rides mountainbikes, but he fancied flipping on a BMX - so he did!

what flash where you using and what settings did you dial in on the flash?

420ex - can't alter the settings, so I was shooting at ISO100-400, using f/2.8-4.5

so no flash exposure compensation at all on the camera either? just that the flash looks like its giving a larger output than the TTL normally delivers.....

No FEC dialled in at all - didn't think that'd work because of the nature of the wireless stuff i've got (cheapy cheapy)
