Using Live vouchers on X360

I have managed to find a couple of Xbox Live vouchers for the old xbox, they are the 2 month trial vouchers. Upon entering the codes it say "these codes can not be used on this offer".

Any1 know if they do work, I tried entering them in the membership section in marketplace and in the account management area, I have tried phoning Microsoft and they are going to phone me back later.

So untill then any1 got any ideas?

I was under the impression they expired after a period of time? I'm sure a couple of the ones I got with old Xbox games had expiry dates.

Also could be that a 2 month voucher dosnt 'fit in' with the new live pricing schemes?

I have checked the dates on them and they are still valid, you could be right about it not fitting in with the schemes though, guess I just have to wait and see what Microsoft say when they phone back.

2 month trials don't work on 360.
The 12 month GOLD live subscriptions for the original XBox do though.
