Don't think i'll be going... Went in 2004, and i found the bands were just on for too little time :( It was still pretty good, but unless the lineup is a lot better than the past, I won't be going.

When bands are playing for 35-40 minutes, it's just nothing compared to seeing them play a 2 hour set, since all the good bands seem to get the short sets at festivals i'll just watch the highlights on tv

not really one for festivals i dont think. i'd rather go and see a band at their own gig, where they actually play for a decent amount of time. although, if i could put my own festival together, i'd definitely go...it'd be about 3 weeks long, though. and it'd be in australia :D

esp not going seeing as i just spotted Trivium are already booked.

Carzy there not headlining what are you on about?

there just on the list of bands playing...jeez.

Well normally, when a group of three bands get announced, they tend to be the headliners....so I assumed they were. Jeeeeez!

Of course Prodigy are headlining!

Shame they aren't anywhere near as good as they used to be live.

I can't wait to see who's on the second stage, it'll be tough to top last year's bill there. Big up tha Mastodon and Hatebreed :D

trivium and bfmv will NOT be headlining, possibly second stage headliners but even that seems unlikely

prodigy are headlining and speaking as a metal fan they are awesome live, really really top, helps if you like some of their stuff to start with obv, but it's a show not to miss

pretty sure trivium will be on main stage... last year they got put on the main stage when they were ment to be on one of the smaller ones :)

headlining second stage is a lot bigger than a low spot on the main stage...

billy idol, motorhead, in flames

they did also have a 1st of the day slot on the main stage last year

The fact that BFMV and Trivium are playing is enough to put me off already...where are the good bands??

Screw Download.

Wacken!!!!
Graspop!!!!

-C

(though - rumours that Metallica are headlining the final day @ Download...could be interesting if they play mainly old stuff like they did at Reading 2003)...

wacken is a very different festival to download, and i dont just mean the price, i'll be going but it's aimed at a completely different market

graspop is essentially the same lineup as download with some additions, and by all accounts isnt as good

after 3 bands being announced i'd never rule out a festival, both bfmv and trivium played last year, so it's no big suprise they're playing again as they had 2 of the biggest pulls for smaller bands
im sure the lineup will shape up pretty well, i'm not willing to place my money down until the other 2 headliners are announced, but from rumours the lineup should shape up nicely
