Can i run my card without ramsinks ?

Just fitted a Swiftech MCW55 on my 7800GT,happy so far :D Just wondering if it will be ok to run this without any ramsinks ?

Any opinions would be great

In my opinion, if the stock cooler cools the ram, then so should you.

But I have seen people run 7800GTX's without cooling on the ram.

Dont know to be honest, have a look on some other forums (xtreme systems).

Im sure it will be alright, if ** thinking of overclocking though u will need to get some ramsinks.

Run 3d mark or somming simular and watch out for graphical pauses and static on the screen. Just keep an eye on it mate for a couple of days but im sure it will be fine.

After fitting my maze4 to my x800xl i now have no cooling on the ram and my case temp is 40C which is high but my case is fanless. Everythings fine, ramsinks aint that expensive anyways if u dont trust me.
