Attn Gibbo Major problem with PC from Overclockers
Hi all,
Took delivery of a full system from Overclockers including a 7800GT a week or so ago. From the beginning I noticed it was slightly unstable in 3D but this has got worse. The wierd thing is that it can play stuff like Farcry or Half Life 2 for hours if the case is on it's side - but starts to show corruption on the screen within seconds if used with the case upright.
I've reseated all the cards in the machine but it is still happening (and getting worse) I suppose i'm just trying to avoid having the machine RMA'd as i use it all the time but why would it be so sensitive to theorientation of the case?
Any ideas welcomed.
