Home Network Help needed!

i want to setup a home network with the following;

3 computers, 2 normal and 1 HTPC
1 internet connection (cable ethernet)
Ethernet harddrive
USB printer.

I dont know what hardware i need to link them all.. help needed... thanks for any replies.

PS: doesnt need to be wireless, all 3 pc's are in the same room..

A Linksys WRT54GS (wireless, but you can turn it off) will connect to the cable modem and do routing - it's probably one of the most stable cable routers around.

It has a 4 port switch, so you can connect your 3 PC's plus NAS drive.

I'd recommend just sharing the USB printer connected to one of the machines if you can - USB print servers are really a bit rubbish and rarely work properly (you can't get status information for example).
