Good holiday destination in march?

Greeting peeps.
I have a week off starting the 6th of March and I was wondering where was a good place to go for a holiday with my girlfriend. I'm looking for somewhere which isn't going to take long to get to (max 4 hours) and will have not too bad weather at that time of year.
Any suggestions?

Tenerfie sunny all the time, but does take 4 hours to get there.

dont go too far east, its way to cold this year so Prague is just not worth it because its so cold

Spain isn't too bad in March. It's not hot, but it's warmer than Scotland.

As far as mainstream shorthaul stuff goes, the Canaries will be the warmest, along with possibly Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. I think the Canaries are terminally dull myself, but it's your choice!
Don't expect half board to be cheap in the major resorts though, self catering is likely to be a better option.
Next up will probably be the Costa Del Sol followed by Benidorm. It's too early for Greece/Turkey/rest of Spain.
