Ive had a big problem with my old rig and i dont know what it could be and tbh i really want to upgrade,so this is a good excuse to do so.
I had a quick look on ocuk and this is what i have come up with:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice
Abit AN8 SLi nForce4
Hitachi Deskstar 80GB
Thermaltake purepower TWV 430W PSU
and a Enermax CS-527 case

and im gonna use my old parts too which are:

Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600
and 512mb of cheapish ram, which i was saving to up grade to 2gig but now my pc is broke im gonna upgrade the above and save again to upgrade the ram some time soon.

So what do u think would everything work good together ?
As im not the best person at this kind of thing.
thanks

That motherboard is a PCI-E board, your graphics card will be AGP, so you will have to get a new graphics card im afraid. You shouldnt have to spend to much more to get a card of similar performance. Plus you can always sell your old one to help pay for a new one.
