Hi,

Just a quick question, if a mobo has 4 mem slots and supports dual mem. If all 4 slots were filled with 2x dual pair mem, will the mobo support them both pairs as dual; ie: increase in performance or will there be a performance loss?

That should work as dual channel with all slots filled provided that the motherboard supports the type of memory your using and the Size of memory that you are using. Your best set is to look in your motherboard manual and see what types of memory configurations its supports and what types of memory are tryed and tested with that board.
