Wondered if anyone knew if i would have to pay extra to bring a pair of snowblades on a ryanair flight??

not sure how much it costs but after reading this http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/faqs.php?sect=bag&quest=sportsequipment if there worth a decent bit of cash i wouldnt risk it

Flying recently on KLM I got charged excess baggage for my snowboard on the way back although oddly not on the way there but it was just a flat fee rather than an excess for every kg I was over..
I'd suggest it will depend how you pack them and how much else you are taking, according to the Ryanair site you get 15kgs of baggage with an excess of £5.50 per kg. With snowblades technically you may be able to fit them into carry on luggage almost but I think it will probably come under the prohibited items for transport within the cabin of the aircraft.
