connecting two external hard drive

is it okay to connect two external ghard drive at the same time to ya pc

just wondering cos i gat loads of files in both and i need to use them at thesame time over a long time, *** the long time affect the effectiveness of these hard drive??

in theory you can daisy chain 127 devices on your USB bus, which includes 127 HDDs, tho you'd need some sort of Raid array to condense them into *24* letters (not 26 cos you can't have C or A, sometimes not B either)

127 HDDs isn't possible with a single USB port - you'd need some hubs. :)

I said "USB bus" not port. Although that's still wrong, i meant Root controller but yeah common sense says you can't plug 127 plugs in 1 hole without some hubs...
