Advice on processing night shots! :D

Took a few night shots the other day... But i've realised I don't really know how best to process night shots. So that's what i'm after advice on! :D

I've not done anything to these, other than convert from NEF's to JPEG's, then resize. EXIF's should be in-tact, should you want to know expsoure info :)

#5 - my lens just wouldn't get focus lock on this one, so I had to use MF, which in itself was pretty much guess work :/

#6 & #7 - i'm wanting to blend these, but am not getting anywhere, i'm getting giant halos on the bridge :(

Yeah, I think that photomatix is the way to go for shots with such a huge difference in exposure. So cheers for that.

Any further advice on how best to process the others though?

Righty, processed two of the buggers now. Am finding them to be really un-flexible with processing, as it's so easy to blow out the highlights or obliterate the shadows...

Let me know what you think...
