That's a very tidy mod :)

Did you just use one of those circular cutter type things?

I was going to use a holesaw but couldn't find one cheap enough really, they are quite expensive for the bi-metal ones, plus i would have had to buy the drill bit too.

Instead i used a dremel and file, just was a lot longer to cut

You normally get the arbour (drill bit) with thr larger type of holesaws.

Looks Great.
Mmmmmmm will have to have a rake round at work to see if we have a 92mm/4" holesaw.

Then might get me one of these to finish it off. :D

That's by far the best dremel work I've seen on here, it looks perfectly round, and really tastefully finished with the grill. Well done :)

Of course if you had a real case like a PC7 you wouldn't have need to cut it up :p

Ye but who wants an 80mm fan on top, extra noise hardly any airflow so youd still have to cut it upo to install a 120mm IMO of course.

The fans a panaflo 120x38 M1A. I have three of these fans. One at the front (had to bend the drive cage for it to fit) and back and one on top. They are great, they pull 87cfm at 12v and 50cfm at 7v, they are really quiet at 7v (22db)

The guard is just a standard black fan guard, i had it free with a fan i bought from a previous system.

Thanks for the kind words :)
