Probs connection to ftp servers?

1. I cannot connect to any server on flashfxp
2. I cannot download any torrent files
3. I cannot access gmail

I could not connect to messenger earlier but I have got that issue fixed.

these probs happened after a norton prompt displayed on my desktop this morning, cannot remember what it said but I clicked ok.

I uninstalled norton and it made no difference.

any suggestions/advice will be appreciated.

Maybe a restore of the system will sort it? worth a try anyhow, assuming you have not tried that anyhow.

do you mean a system restore? cos my system restore was turned off

might be isp related some isps block torrent ports, but ftp they shouldnt, if your using broadband you may want to check your router's settings. also check your firewall if your using one

I can't check my router settings

I am using a TERAYON modem. the only firewall I was using was norton internet security, but after I had the probs, I uninstalled it. this made no difference.
