Quick LCD Question

Are LCD the same as monitors in that a 17" TFT is bigger than a 17" CRT?

So a 26" LCD would really be as big as my 28" CRT TV?

doh, requesting this to be moved (grr, can someone else report this please)

Depends on how it's measured, a lot of the time a 19inch CRT Monitor is 18inch diagonal visible, wheras a 19inch TFT is usually 19inches diagonal visible.

I think TVs are usually more accurate with measurements, but I'm not 100% sure.

Best thing to do, go to the manufacturers website for the LCD your looking at and look at its specification.. it should give you viewable screen size, along with overall dimensions.
