1) Albatron NVIDIA 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI-E (OEM) - £199 INC VAT

20pipes

400c/1000m

2) HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X1800 XL 256MB AVIVO £211 INC VAT

16pipes

500c/1000m

3) Leadtek WinFast PX 7800GT MyVIVO Extreme PCI-E £229.98

Or is there something else at approx the £200 range which is better than the above ?, the £229 Leadtek is REALLY pushing the budget as it is, cheers :)

HI there

Out of those cards the X1800 XL is the best buy, especially when you consider how well they overclock. :)

Cheers Gibbo, about what core/mem speeds to most people get out of the x1800XL Cards though?

More or less XT speeds, hence why they are great value. :)
Also remember ATI's image quality is superior to NVIDIA's too. :)

a lot of the reviews iv just skipped through place the 7800GT as the better card, however these were done when the x1800XL was only just released, have the drivers now matured enough to make it a faster card at stock speeds?

Yes newer drivers like the Catalyst 6.2's have boosted performance quite a bit. :)
