:mad: I was really, really, hoping to get the Minolta Dynax 5D. It would have been perfect for the Motorsport event coming up on the 27th. However, one supplier who were selling it for £390 have said they have limited stock coming in.

I have been told that demand has gone through the roof since the announcement of Konica Minolta pulling out of photography. It has meant reduced prices. I have only three options left;

1) Go overbudget

2) Not get one at all

3) Go second hand.

:(

Edit! Some light on the end of the tunnel!

I have found another supplier! Now I just need to wait for my credit card payment on Friday to go through and I can buy :D :D

It's funny the way that KM's pulling out of the market has had the effect of increasing demands for the kit....and sent the price of lenses through the roof. I've seen the 70-210 f4 going for way over a ton on the Bay; you could get them for about sixty quid a year ago.

Congrats on getting hold of a 5D tho'....I reckon you are going to enjoy it big time...
