Hey,

What you think of this spec for me mate? He mainly plays the latest games and burning CDs e.c.t

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail
Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS2.5

£344.82 Inc VAT.

I dont know which graphics card would be better?

PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 GTO16 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI £123.32 Inc VAT.
PowerColor ATI Radeon X850 XT 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI £152.69 Inc VAT.

or any other good cards under £155 ATI or NVIDIA.

Also what you think about the case / psu for him?

The X850XT is the better card, the X800 GTO16 is basically an underclocked version but I'd still prefer the X850XT because it is faster to start with and often slightly better quality materials are used so you can overclock that little bit more. A 6800gs is a good card and supports SM3 which the X850XT doesn't but the X850XT is the faster card.

The case and keyboard, mouse and speakers seem pretty cheap so are unlikely to be as well built as most but they should still be fairly solid. You may want to see if you can find out what the PSU is like, ideally you want at least 20A on the 12V rail for an A64.

Now I've got time to check unfortunately even on the Optronix website they don't have any more detailed specifications for the PSU, you could always send a webnote to OcUK and ask them to have a look at the PSU as it should say on the side of it what amps it can supply.
