ok so its been setup for ages and working fine,

previously was just 1 nic,

ive added another because i want setup as follows, but i want internal clients to be able to get online, ive done this before but cant remember how

1 Nic gigabit for internal
1 10/100 for internet acsess via a router

1st question does the internet acsess nic have to be on a different class,
ie 10.0.0.2 for wan side and 192.168.1.x for internals ?

so far the only way i can get it to work is bridging them but its not ideal,

so could i have a guide please of how to do it step by step i did google but to no avail

not a different class a different subnet should do, so 192.168.2.x for internal clients, and 192.168.1x (or whatever your router is using) You may want to look in to setting your router up to pass the real external ip address to the wan nic in your w2k3 machine.
