Is there a fairly up to date table of car thefts per area etc.. I know obviously a group 20 car is far more desirable to nick than a group 1 car.
I just have this thing in my head that certain cars are magnets towards people wanting to nick em.
I'm currently looking round at different estate cars and my dad (who is a 2nd driver) has seen a Subaru outback. Now I've already seen the legacy and think it looks great etc. (not driven mind you). But because they are decent size, 4x4 and have pokey(ish) engines are they crying out for nicking or is this an urban myth that has passed?
Perhaps I'm just paranoid and as such I'll buy a KIA Cornflake packet or something
